As a church community we are having a self catering BBQ at Tahunanui Beach on Wednesday 16th January. We will meet from 6pm between the Beach Cafe and Lions playground. Please bring your own meat, salad, bread rolls and drinks. If you have frisbees, balls, bats etc bring them along and let’s enjoy community together. We encourage you to bring your own camp chairs and picnic blankets too. We hope to see you there.
We are having a working bee on Saturday 19th January at the church. We have a number of projects that we need your help with. Please come in your oldest work clothes and help us complete the upgrades. Mid morning tea and eats will be provided.

Frontline is a five-month discipleship course dedicated to grow believers in their love for Jesus, His church, and those who are yet to meet Him. Participants will learn more about themselves and God’s calling on their lives and grow in their ability to lead others to Jesus. We are having an NCMI World Equip in October 2020 for all the partnering churches across the world to come together for a week of training and encouragement in Johannesburg South Africa. We have the great privilege and pleasure of having Ian Mckellar from Church of Joy Singapore ministering at NBC the weekend of 25 - 27 May. Ian and his wife Nola have serve for many years on the New Covenant Ministries International apostolic team and minister extensively across the world. Look out for more details of this weekend. Nelson Churches Network, will be hosting another Jesus Heals next year 9-11th March 2018 at the Trafalgar Centre. Our guest will be John Mellor is an international healing evangelist and has ministered for many years among the Aboriginal people of Australia. John and his wife Julie are ordained pastors with Christian Outreach Centre; the ministry is non-denominational. He wrote a book called Miracles from the Dust, based on some of the extraordinary miracles, signs and wonders that he has been privileged to be used by God in. We look forward to his ministry and trust that you will put this date in your diary and make every effort to be there.

Our Church Family Camp is for everybody. So whether you are a family, a married couple, a child, a teen or single, this weekend is for you! As an eldership we are encouraging you to start saving and be a part of this weekend away. The camp will be at Bridge Valley Christian Camp. The cost of accommodation and meals is below. This includes three meals a day and morning/afternoon teas per person. We really hope to see you all there!

As a church, we rely on our volunteer army to get some essential things done at NBC. This is especially true when it comes to the maintenance of our building.
This coming January, we have two Working Bee's happening on the 20th & 27th. We have quite a bit of painting to do downstairs and we would also like to give our foyer and the babies room upstairs a fresh coat of paint. So, that means we really need your help.
Please can you save these dates and make every effort to come and join us. Many hands, sure do make light work. If everyone of you come, the job will be quick and easy. We will start at 9.30 am on each morning. We hope to see you all there!
